About
Douglas Day is an award winning Senior Art Director and Illustrator from Glendale, California. His work has been featured in a variety of publications, web media, animated series, and consumer products nationwide.
His list of proud clients include Disney, MGM, Sony,
Age of Learning, NBC Sports, Sesame Workshop, Scholastic, Major League Baseball, Saban Brands LLC, National Football League Players Association,
Capitol Records, Warner Bros., Glendale Community College, and Disney Fine Art.
Douglas has created original designed licensed consumer artwork, including style guide character art, for a diverse range of popular leading brands, and he is an accomplished motion graphics designer, who incorporates his own illustrations in the work he does for online education.
A graduate of Otis College of Art and Design, Douglas has given lectures at schools and institutions, including California State University at Channel Islands and the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles.
He is currently in the process of submitting his proposal for a graphic novel that he is both writing and illustrating.
